On the morning of December 12th, Xuejing Jia, a Ph.D. candidate in the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine fromUniversity of Macau, delivered a lecture entitled "How to Write Academic manuscript more efficiently" in the building of College of Life Science, which attracted more than 30 graduate students to attend.
According to his own experience in writing SCI manuscripts, Xuejing Jia gave a detailed explanation on the techniques of GraphPad, Adobe Illustrator, Endnote, Sciencedirect, Springer, Willey, etc., by drawing graphs, demonstrating literature retrieval and import according to the data provided by the students presented. He’s good at solving the students’ paper-writing problems in a vivid way. At the same time, he shared his experience in the University of Macau, and encouraged graduate students to study diligently and explore bravely.
Speaker introduction: Xujing Jia, a Ph.D. candidate in the University of Macau, obtained Master degree from Sichuan Agricultural University, engaged in the development and utilization of plant natural products. His research outputs were published in Trends in Food Science & Technology and other international journals (IF= 29.34).
