On November 10th and 11th, Oat Buckwheat Branch of China Crop Association held the first National Oat Buckwheat Youth Academic BBS and "Green Industry and Rural Revitalization" seminar in Guiyang, Guizhou. Professor Wu Qi of the college of life science led 5 postgraduates to attend the seminar. Deng Renyu and Dong Qixin who is the postgraduates from college of life science did reports titled “Tartary buckwheat sg4-myb transcription factor FtMYB3 inhibits anthocyanin synthesis” and “Overexpression of FtCHS1 promoted the accumulation of flavonoids in Tartary buckwheat callus” respectively.
The conference in order to “Green Industry and Rural Revitalization” as the theme, based on germplasm resources, genetic breeding, cultivation physiology and food processing industry in the development of the key problems and aimed at strengthening the oats buckwheat youth exchanges between researchers and improving the academic level of scientific research and technology innovation ability, so as to promote the oats buckwheat industry development in our country. This conference was organized by Guizhou Normal University and attended by more than 47 universities and institutes.
